Big iPhone headache: Waiting for AT&T activation

It sucks when you spend oodles of money on a new toy and can’t use it.

It’s important to stress that the iPhone can’t be used for anything useful, not even playing music or movies, until activation happens.

Ouch. Why the hell can’t you use it for other things when it’s not an activated phone? That’s ridiculous.

Poor dog

When I got to the grocery store after work, there was a car with a dog inside and the back windows rolled down about 4 inches. In 90 degree heat. I whipped out my cell phone and took pictures of the license plate, a rear window view where you could see license plate and kind of see the back of dog’s head, and a view into the side window where you can clearly see the dog. But, apparently, I missed the “save” button on all but the side view – the one with no way to identify the owner of the car. Crap. I wanted to turn the bitch into the police for animal cruelty. “Oh, I left the windows cracked and was just inside for a few minutes” *fake smile*

Bitch.

Mommy? Is that what sunshine looks like?

’cause it’s been so long since I’ve seen it…

Random Links for the day

‘shroom

It’s been raining a lot here. A lot. How much? So much, that my yard, which is usually just a bunch of brown grass and dirt by this time of the year, is full of mushrooms. (Well, fire ants and mushrooms, but…MUSHROOMS!)

Me as a Simpson

That’s a heck of a cloud

Raining – again

I usually don’t mind the rain, but this is getting ridiculous. When did Texas become part of the tropics?

Suvi and Hansi on the news

My friend Suvi was interviewed by a local news station about recent Autism health insurance legislation in Texas. Check it out.
