I early voted yesterday. Next Tuesday I’ll get to vote again via a caucus. Yep, Texas gives new meaning to the phrase, “vote early and vote often.”

I went to a HUGE rally for Senator Obama on Friday night. While it did involve many hours of standing and wishing for a nice comfy seat, it was fun and everyone around me was very pleasant to talk to.

The staff had given the squirrel monkeys bits of candy cane. This caused much excitement.

I was fascinated by their tongues. They seem pretty powerful – able to reach out, wrap around small branches and pull them close enough to munch on.
