Here’s a fascinating series of before and after pictures. The before pictures were taken during the late 60s and early 70s by a young soldier in Vietnam. The after pictures were taken by his daughter on a return trip in March of 2007.

My old mailbox and porch light were falling apart and rusty, so I had a new ones put up today. The handyman found this gecko skeleton in the process. It’s perfectly intact and there’s even bits of skin still there. Creepy and interesting all at the same time.
