At the rest stop just south of the LBJ Ranch. I thought this table design was brilliant – allows all the crumbs and crap to fall through, keeping the top cleaner.

Yesterday, my friend Jess and I went downtown to eat at Frank & Angie’s Pizzeria (they were giving 5% of their profits that night to a Save Dafur charity). After the dinner, I thought I’d roam around a bit and take pictures. Jess asked if I’d been to the roof of Whole Foods and I said no, so off we went. By the time we got there, we’d lost most of the good light, but I was determined to take some photos, dammit.

She wasn’t happy I was taking a picture. I was afraid to take the time to adjust the f-stop to allow both eyes to be in focus – I figured by then she’d have put her hand up or made a silly face.
